3Days / 2Nights – Golden Rock (Kyaikhtiyo)

Day 1 Yangon (Morning Arrival)
Transfer to hotel and half day downtown sightseeing including shopping at Bogyoke Market and visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda. O/N Yangon.

Day 2 Yangon - Bago (By Car)
Pick up at the hotel and drive to Bago (84km – 1 1/2 hours). Sightseeing in Bago and after lunch drive to Kin Pun based camp (110km – 3 1/2 hour). From Kin Pun another 11 km adventurous travel by open trucks to Kyaikhtiyo. Watch the sun set at the Golden Rock. O/N at Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 3 Kyaikhtiyo - Yangon (By Car)
After breakfast drive back to Yangon and at leisure until transfer to airport.
Transfer to hotel and half day downtown sightseeing including shopping at Bogyoke Market and visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda. O/N Yangon.

5 Days / 4 Nights- Myanmar Highlights: Yangon, Inle, Bagan

Day 1: Yangon arrival
Transfer to hotel and in the afternoon half day downtown sightseeing of all the high lights including shopping at Bogyoke Market, photo stop at Kandawgyi Lake and the Karaweik and later to Shwedagon Pagoda. O/N in Yangon.

Day-02: Yangon - Heho - Pindaya - Inle Lake
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport and flight to Heho. Drive to Pindaya a small quiet town famous for its millions years old Pindaya Cave deposited with thousands of pagodas during the past centuries. Sightseeing to traditional Shan paper making and Umbrella making villages. Evening drive to Inle lake, the second biggest lake in Myanmar famous for its unique leg-rowers. O/N Inle Lake.

Day-03: Inle Lake
After breakfast, boat trip to Inle Lake, the second biggest lake in Myanmar, famous for its unique leg rollers. Tour highlights is visit to Floating Maket, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, Inpawkhone Village, famous for its silk weaving handlooms, Ngaphechaung Monastery, well know for its jumping cats, traditional ways of fishing, and Floating Gardens. . O/N Inle Lake.

Day-04: Heho-Bagan
Departure from Heho to Bagan by flight. Visit colorful Bagan Market and later proceed with Bagan sightseeing including seeing some of Bagan's famous lacquer ware being handcrafted. At sunset enjoy the panoramic view of the pagodas. O/N in Bagan.

Day-5: Bagan - Yangon
Transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. At leisure until departure transfer.

5Days / 4Nights - Ayeyarwaddy Experience: Yangon, Bagan, Popa, Mandalay

Day 1 Yangon arrival
Transfer to hotel and in the afternoon half day downtown sightseeing of all the high lights including shopping at Bogyoke Market, photo stop at Kandawgyi Lake and the Karaweik. Enjoy the sunset at the Shwedagon Pagoda. O/N in Yangon.

Day 2 Yangon - Mandalay
Morning flight to Mandalay. Morning sightseeing in Mandalay city including gold leaf hammering, the famous Mahamuni pagoda, Shwenandaw Monastery known for its wood carvings. Visit the former royal capital of Amarapura highlighted by U Bein's Bridge, the longest teakwood structure. Enjoy the sunset from Mandalay Hill. O/N in Mandalay.

Day 3 Mandalay – Bagan (ferryboat)
Early morning departure from Mandalay to Bagan by morning ferryboat service. Travel down the fabled Ayeyarwaddy River and experience the nostalgia of the days gone. Arrive to Bagan in the late afternoon. Relax at the hotel for the rest of the evening. O/N in Bagan.

Day 4 (Bagan)
Visit colorful Bagan Market and later proceed with Bagan sightseeing including famous temples Htilominlo, Dhamanyangyi, Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi, Shwezigon, Ananda, Thatbyinnyu Temple also visist Bagan's famous lacquer ware shops. At sunset enjoy the panoramic view of the pagodas. O/N in Bagan.

Day 5 Bagan - Yangon

Day 3 Bagan- Popa
Morning drive to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano renowned as the home of the "nats" or the spirits and enjoy the scenic view of the surroundings. Return Bagn in the afternoon and stop by at Myinkaba Village and observe the process of Traditional Lacquerware Industry. O/N in Bagan

 

Day 4 Bagan - Mandalay
Morning flight to Mandalay. Morning sightseeing in Mandalay city including gold leaf hammering, the famous Mahamuni pagoda, Shwenandaw Monastery known for its wood carvings. Depart for Heho in the Shan State and drive to Pindaya. Visit the unique Pindaya Caves with over 8000 Budda images and later stop by and see the Shan umbrella making industry. In the late after noon scenic drive to Inle Lake. O/N in Inle.

Day 6 (Inle lake)
Morning boat excursion on scenic Inle Lake to see the famous leg rowers, floating gardens, floating market, fishing and village life. In the afternoon continue with the visit to the Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, the weaving village of Inpawkhon and other sights. O/N in Inle.

Day 7 (Heho - Yangon)
Transfer to airport for Yangon. At Leisure till departure time.

Day-01: Arrival-Yangon
Arrive at Yangon and transfer to Hotel to check in. After lunch, tour of Yangon visiting Sule Pagoda, and Yangon City tour end with the visist to the famous Shwedagon Pagoda - over 2500 years old the world famous stupa. O/N in Yangon.

Day-02: Yangon-Kyaikhtiyo
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kyaikhtiyo, located about 168 km from Yangon. Kyaikhtiyo or Golden Rock Pagoda is built on a huge boulder 50feet in girth that rests precariously on a projecting tabular rock 80feet high, on the edge of a hill over 1100 km above sea level. Coach reach to Kinpun base camp; proceed to Yathe Taung base camp, which is located on the half way, by local open trucks and takes about 45 minutes drive. O/N in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day-03: Kyaikhtiyo-Bago-Mandalay
Morning after breakfast drive back to Bago, an ancient Capital of Mon Kingdom in 15 century. After lunch, sightseeing to Bago Shwemawdaw Pagoda - the highest pagoda in Myanmar, Kanbawzathadi Palace – the palace site of King Bayinnaung , the founder of Myanmar 2ndEmpire: Bago Market, Shwethalyaung Pagoda - a huge reclining Buddha, Mons’ Weaving Village. O/N in Yangon.

Day-04: Mandalay-Amarapura-Mandalay
After breakfast transfer to airport to Mandalay and upon arrival sightseeing to Amarapura - an ancient capital built by the advice of astrologers. Tours highlights are Mahagandaryone Monastery where one may see the daily life of the monks studying Buddha’s scriptures,and U Bein Bridge, 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge. Mahamuni Image,a bronze Buddha image cast during the lifetime of Buddha himself:Tapestry Makin, Gold leaf beating workshop, Silk weaving home cottage, Tapestry works, and Marble carving, wood carving and bronze casting workshops. After lunch proceed to Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carving;Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda ,known as the world biggest book. Evening at Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset scene and the panoramic view of the city. O/N in Mandalay.

Day-05: Mandalay-Pyin Oo Lwin-Mandalay
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Pyin Oo Lwin formerly known as Maymyo, a small hill station used by the British. Highlights tours are: Peik Chin Myaung Caves, Maymyo Market, horse cart ride along the colonial style buildings, Chinese Temple and National Kandawgyi Park. Evening drive back to Mandalay. O/N in Mandalay.

Day-06: Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing
After breakfast, visit to Mingun, the world largest ringing bell exist. Pahtodawgyi unfinish Pagoda, Mingun village and environs scene. After lunch sightseeing including Sagaing Hill, famous as the center of meditation. Visit Kaungmudaw Pagoda,an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century: Pottery and Silver-smith workshops. On the way back to Mandalay, enjoy the beautiful sunset along the Ayeyarwaddy River. O/N in Mandalay.

Day-07: Mandalay-Bagan
After breakfast, transfer to the jetty for the boat trip to Bagan (0600-1630) with local double-decker ferry. Afternoon, arrive at Nyaung Oo Jetty. Meet and transfer to hotel in Bagan. Evening, watch the famous sunset view of Bagan from Shwesandaw Pagoda. O/N in Bagan.

Day-08: Bagan
After breakfast at the hotel, sightseeing and visit to Kyansittha Umin, Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan,Dhamanyangyi Temple, Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall painting depicting scenes from the Jataka; Manuha Temple. After lunch continue to Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Lacquer-ware making home cottage, Ananda Temple - King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architectur, Thatbyinnyu Temple - the highest building on the Bagan plain. Evening visit to Buphaya or Shwesandaw Pagoda to watch the sunset scene over the Ayeyarwaddy River. O/N in Bagan.

Day-09: Bagan-Popa-Kalaw
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kalaw. On the way, visit to Mount Popa, the abode of nats(spirits), siturated 40 miles southeast of Bagan. Sightseeing Mount Popa and environs. Lunch at a restaurant in Meikhtila. Then, proceed to Kalaw - a small hill station with numbers of old colonial style British built buildings. Evening arrive at Kalaw. O/N in Kalaw.

Day-10: Kalaw-Pindaya-Inle
After breakfast drive to Pindaya - a small quiet town famous for its millions years old caves deposited with thousands of pagodas during the past centuries. Sightseeing Pindaya Cave, Traditional Shan papers making and Umbrella making villages. After lunch drive to Lake Inle –famous for its unique leg-rowers. O/N in Inle Lake.

Day-11: Inle
Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, boat trip sightseeing to Inle Lake, the second biggest lake in Myanmar, famous for its unique leg rollers. Tour highlights is visit to Floating Maket, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, InpawkhoneVillage, famous for its silk weaving handlooms, Ngaphechaung Monastery, well known for its jumping cats, traditional ways of fishing, and Floating Gardens. Lunch at the floating restaurant. O/N in Inle.

Day-12: Inle-Heho-Taunggyi- Kyaing Tong
After breakfast drive up to Taunggyi Market where one can see the shopping and selling fresh vegetables and all sorts of regional products. Later drive back to Heho airport for departure to Kyaing Tong, a small trading town which is known as a city of the Eastern Shan State, located near Thai Border; famous for it several hill-tribes villages like Akha, Palaung, Lahu, Akhi, Lishu, Lwe and Shans living nearby the surrounding. Meet and transfer to the hotel. Visit to Home made Lacquer workshop, Hot Spa, Akha Centre Village, Pottery village “Yan Gone”. Sunset on the One Tree Hill Thittapin Taung - the 245 years old Diptero carpus tree planted by King Alaungphaya, the founder of Third Myanmar Empire. O/N in Kyaing Tong.

Day-13: Kyaing Tong
After breakfast at hotel, take the car about 45 minutes for the hiking tour to Pin Tauk Area to see Akha & Enn Tribes villages. After lunch, visit to Wan Kan Village to see the Sake Rice Wine with traditional process, Hand Making “Saa-pulp” Shan Paper Works at Wan Lau Village. Evening arrive back to Kyaing Tong. O/N in Kyaing Tong.

Day-14: Kyaing Tong-Yangon
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Central Market, Dhat Zoan Doi Ancient pagoda (the origin of Yangon Kabaaye, Akhe’s Wan Sai village, Ann’s Ho Lung village. Later transfer to airport for flight to Yangon. At Leisure and O/N in Yangon.

Day-15: Yangon- Ngapali
After breakfast transfer to airport to Ngapali, one of the unspoiled white sand beach located on the western coast of the country. Check in hotel. O/N in Ngapali.

Day-16: Ngapali
At leisure on the beach. O/N in Ngapali.

Day-17: Ngapali -Sittwe-Mrauk Oo
After breakfast transfer to airport to Sittwe, the capital of Western Rakhine State. On arriving transfer to jetty for boat trip to Mrauk Oo, ancient capital of Rakhine Kingdom, famous for its 15th century temple with wall paintings of Indian Culturak influence. Arrive at Mrauk Oo and transfer to hotel. At Leisure and O/N in Mrauk Oo.

Day-18: Mrauk Oo
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Mrauk Oo Market, Shwetaung, the highest mountain to enjoy the Sunrise .Later proceed to Sakya Man Aung Pagoda. Yadana Man Aung Pagoda, Koethaung Temple, Pisi Pagoda, Phara Oak Pagoda and Kyanglaidon Fortress. Continue to visit the archaeological Museum on the ground of ruined palace, Bandoola Monastery Museum, Zina Manaung Pagoda, Lak say kan lake. Proceed to Harretaung Hill for sunset. O/N in Mrauk Oo.

Day-19: Mrauk Oo - Sittwe
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Mro Village Palace Side, Museum & check out hotel. Transfer to Jetty and boat trip to Sittwe. Lunch onboard. Arrive at Sittwe & transfer to hotel. Later visit to View Point Beach for sunset. O/N in Sittwe.

Day-18: Sittwe – Yangon
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Fish market, Fishing Boat Workshops & Fishermen area, Cultural Museum, Mahakutahla Monastery Museum. Transfer to airport and flight to Yangon. O/N in Yangon.

Day-19: Yangon
At Leisure till departure time.
