From Bagan
3 Days / 2 Nights –
Chin Adventure (Mindat Only): Bagan, Mindat,
Bagan
Travel to the fascinating Chin State in Myanmar:
Explore Mindat and meet ladies with tattooed faces.
DAY 01: Bagan-Mindat
Pick-up at your hotel in Bagan and transfer to
Buphaya, and cross the Ayerwaddy River by a small
local boat. Drive a bumpy road (approx. 7 ½ hours)
by 4WD through to Mindat on the north-eastern side
of Mt. Victoria. On the way you will see the
villages of Myit Chay, Kanma and the township of
Pauk. Lunch at simple local restaurant or boxed
lunch. Continue drivig on a mountain road into the
Chin Hills. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at a guest house (very
simple and basic) in Mindat.
DAY 02: Mindat
After
breakfast, experience the traditional dances of the
three different Chin tribes Dine, Mum and Ma in this
area. Meet ladies with tattooed faces and listen to
the sounds of flutes played by nose. After lunch at
simple local restaurant, explore Mindat and the
surrounding villages of ethnic minorities. Dinner at
a local restaurant and overnight stay at a guest
house (very simple and basic) in Mindat.
DAY 03: Mindat-Bagan
After breakfast, drive back by 4 WD through small
villages then cross the Irrawaddy by ferry boat to
reach Bagan. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel in
Bagan.

From Yangon to
Mauk U
4 Days / 3 Nights –
The Hidden City:
Yangon, Sittwe, Mauk U, Sittwe,Yangon

DAY 1 : Yangon-Sittwe-Mrauk U
After breakfast transfer to air port - Flight from
Yangon to Sittwe. Arrive in Sittwe and transfer to
the jetty for a chartered boat trip on the Kaladan
River to Mrauk U, about five hours upstream.
Overnight in Mrauk U.
DAY 2 : Mrauk U
After
breakfast at the hotel visit Mrauk U, Myanmar's
legendary lost city and the last royal capital of
Rakhine. A morning tour of Mrauk U's sights includes
Koethaing Temple, the Pitakataik Library,
Laungbanpyauk Pagoda, Yadana Mannaung and Sakaya
Mannaung Pagodas. After lunch, visit Shitthaung
Temple, Mrauk U's most important monument, built in
1535 and containing a remarkable collection of
Arakanese Buddha images and relief's. Continue to
the multi-spired Andawthein Ordination Hall, with
its unique stone carvings, the circular Ratanabon
Pagoda, Dukkhanthein, a huge fortress-like temple
with vaulted passages containing interesting stone
sculptures and Laymyetnha, the first pagoda erected
in Mrauk U in 1430. Overnight in Mrauk U. Nawarat
Hotel or Vesali Resort.
DAY 3 : Sittway
Transfer to the jetty for the boat journey back to
Sittwe. SITTWAY, the provincial capital and main
port of Rakhine (Arakan). After a rest at the hotel
travel by car to the main market of Sittwe, to see
fishermen, town and rural people. Stroll along the
Strand Road, the town’s old commercial area. Visit
the 100 year old Buddha with a golden face at the
Payagyi Temple; the Cultual Museum and the local
Mosque.
Overnight in Sittway.
DAY 4 : Sittway - Yangon
Transfer to the airport for the flight back to
YANGON.
Option for guests
Ngapali Beach Extension or stop over is the ideal
from Sittway to spend some relaxing days at one of
the most beautiful beaches in Asia. Air Mandalay and
Yangon Airways operate daily non stop flights
between Yangon, Sittway and Thandwe (Ngapali Beach).
From Mandalay to
Myitkyina
5 Days / 4 Nights:
Enchanting Kachin-
Mandalay, Myitkyina, Myit Sone, Putao, Htat San
Gaung Village
Travel to the scenic Kachin State

converge to form the mighty Irrawaddy River.
Day 1: MANDALAY – MYITKYINA
After breakfast transfer to Mandalay airport for
flight to Myitkyina. Upon arrival transfer to Pan
Sun hotel proceed on a sightseeing tour of Myitkyina,
Su Taung Pyi pagoda and reclining Buddha, Kachin
‘Manao’ garden. Diner & overnight at hotel.
Day 2: MYINTKYINA - MYIT SONE
- MYINTKYINA
After
breakfast visit Myitkyina market and drive to Myit
Sone 45km north of the city where the Mekha and
Melikha rivers converge to form the mighty Irrawaddy
River. Then Hsu Taung Pye Zedidaw, a pretty, gilded,
'wish-fulfilling' stupa on the banks of the
Ayeyarwady River. Continue to Andawshin Paya, larger
paya which boasts a silver-plated zedi said to
contain tooth relics and a Buddha footprint. If
possible, visit Tan Phe village to see the elephants
lugging teak wood. Enjoy the beautiful scenery
before driving back to Myitkyina. On the way to
Myitkyina visit Jaw Bon Tower, Karein Naw Resort and
local village. Dinner at River View Restaurant.
Overnight at Pantsum Hotel.
Day 3: MYINTKYINA – PUTAO
Morning flight to Putao. Putao is a town amidst the
U shape mountain rage. Upon arrival transfer to the
Khakaborazi Guest House.
Lunch at restaurant. Then proceed to visit
Mulasheedee village( 13 Km from Putao , 30 mins
drive )and walk through the Mulasheedee rope
suspension bridge . Then drive back to Putao and
overnight Dinner and overnight at Khakaborazi Guest
House.
Day 4: PUTAO – HTAT SAN GAUNG
VILLAGE
Breakfast. Then proceed to visit Htat San Gaung
village ( 22 km from Putao ).
The tribes to be discovered are Rawan, Le su, Kachin
and Khan tee Shan.
At night enjoy dinner with traditional dance and big
fire . Overnight at that village.
Day 5: SAN GAUNG VILLAGE -
PUTAO - YGN
Morning drive back to Putao, and in the afternoon
flight back to Yangon.
Note: The region
around Myitkyina, Putao, Sittwe, Mrauk Oo and
especially Mindat is still undeveloped and
categorized under adventure tours. We will endeavor
to obtain the best available accommodations,
transport and facilities for guests, but please
understand that they are simple and basic when
things do not come up to expectation. Delays or
changes in itinerary can also occur.
